Magnolia trees are important to me for a lot of reasons. They are one of the first blooms in early spring, signifying the end of a long winter and a the start of my favorite season. They mean beauty, love, and an appreciation of nature, all things which are important to me. They also represent to me new beginnings, a rebirth, and a constant reminded that we all need to keep growing and keep evolving.
This is my third tattoo and my favorite by far! It was done by Max Shoberg at Red Rocket Tattoo in NYC and I couldn’t be happier! He was able to combine my mish mash of ideas and really captured the water color effect I wanted.
